Worse still, he’s discovered that it’s kind of fun to bring his prey in through the dog door, often before it’s quite 100% deceased. He’s been very busy bringing in birds, but I’m sure that once bunny season is in full swing, we’ll be seeing a lot of those. I don’t know which I’d rather be cleaning up – gobs of feathers, or chunks of fur. Yuck.

In other cat news, Stephanie is still hanging on. Her tumor has gotten bigger and is giving her more trouble, but she’s still eating with gusto, climbing on laps, purring when she gets attention, and enjoying the comfort of an unmade bed with her friends. . .
