We were supposed to meet friends at the sand castle building contest at Belmar, but they had to cancel at the last minute. Hubby had already taken the day off, so we figured we’d check it out anyway. The rain let up just enough for people to make some pretty amazing castles, but the water was too rough for swimming, so after seeing the castles, there was nothing else to do. We had thoughts of taking our ride tickets to Seaside after lunch, but as we were heading home, the skies opened up. Never one to waste an opportunity, I took a nap. Heh.
